Continue the tradition! Each year, the Texas Historical Commission highlights one of its treasured state historic sites with a limited-edition ornament. Once sold out, these ornaments are history!
The 2026 edition celebrates Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site, where the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed on March 2, 1836. Commemorating the 190th anniversary of Texas independence, this beautifully detailed ornament features Independence Hall surrounded by colorful Texas wildflowers, including iconic bluebonnets. Its layered metal design and golden accents bring to life the historic site known as the birthplace of Texas independence.
Proudly made in the USA, the ornament measures approximately 2.25" tall by 3" wide and comes ready to hang with a gold cord. Each ornament arrives in a branded display box with an interpretive card sharing the history behind the design, making it perfect for gifting or collecting.
