The officially registered tartan honors the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence on March 2, 1836, at Washington-on-the-Brazos. The tartan's design incorporates the numbers 3, 2, 18, and 36 into a pattern with colors inspired by historic Lone Star flags.

Crafted from a midweight 70% Merino wool blend, this 69" x 10" scarf features two 8" square pockets sewn at each end — perfect for warming hands at a football game, around a campfire, or on the porch. Finished with fringe on both ends and stitched sides, it includes a sewn “1836 Texas Declaration of Independence” patch. Product arrives on a cardboard display hanger that features interpretive message as well as a interpretive hang tag.
