Inspired by the signing which occurred on March 2, 1836, at Washington-on-the-Brazos, this exclusive Texas Historical Commission design weaves a pattern built on the numbers 3, 2, 18, and 36 with colors drawn from historic Lone Star flags, a subtle tribute to Texas independence.

Woven from a midweight 70% Merino wool blend, this large wool blanket offers traditional warmth and durability. Finished with fringe along the top and bottom and stitched sides, it is equally at home draped across a sofa, folded at the foot of a bed, or wrapped around your shoulders on a cool Texas evening. Blanket features a sewn patch reading “1836 Texas Declaration of Independence”. Arrives folded and wrapped with a "1836 Texas Declaration of Independence" ribbon and interpretive hang tag.
